The Prayer in Seven Chapters Taught by Padmasambava

The text was first published in India in 1981 and carefully revised by James Low in 2008 with a new introduction. This revised and expanded version is now available in German for the first time and has been completely revised and newly typeset. As James Low describes in his foreword, the idea of (re)publishing this book came from a dream to enable Chimed Rigdzin Rinpoche's rebirth. In addition to the Seven Prayers (Leu Dünma) as requested by King Trisong Deutsen, Khandro Yeshe Tshogyal, Namkhai Nyingpo, Nanam Dorje Dudjom, Prince Mutri Tsenpo, the book contains the Sampa Lhundrub Ma, which is probably the best known of these seven, detailed lineage prayers of the Byangter (Byang-gTer) and Mindroling (sMin-Grol-Gling) traditions and other prayers such as the Barched Lamsel prayer, the prayer that instantly removes all obstacles, and the Prayer of the Immaculate Biography, the Prayer to the Three Kaya Guru. The book is well equipped for practice, durable hardcover, with thread stitching, ribbon marker. It contains the Tibetan text with phonetic transcription, and is provided with a word-to-word, line-by-line and verse-by-verse translation.
